About Independence, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Independence, Kentucky is a Cincinnati suburb with approximately 25,000 residents. This home rule-class city is found in Kenton County, and it is one of the two county seats of government. While many residents commute into Cincinnati for work, major employers like Cengage Learning, Rotek, Mazak, and Balluff are found directly in Independence. Several elementary and middle schools are found within the city limits, and older students will complete their education at either Simon Kenton High School or Scott High School.

This growing city is home to many unique destinations and things to do. The Boone County Distilling Company is a popular place for brew enthusiasts to visit, while families may prefer taking their children to Doe Run Lake Park, Fox Run Park, or Middleton-Mills Park. Independence is also home to many restaurants that can please even the pickiest of eaters, including Crewitt’s Creek Kitchen & Bar, Skyline Chili, Rio Grande, and Buffalo Wild Wings. There are also many places to get a gift in Independence, like Cathy’s Florals & Gifts and the M&M Archery Range and Pro Shop.

Found primarily within a humid subtropical area, Independence residents can enjoy four distinct seasons. The spring months are mild to warm and wet, and they lead to a hot and muggy summer. Rainfall stays plentiful throughout the summer season, which adds to the high humidity levels. Residents will stay comfortable with the right central air conditioner, and an experienced HVAC technician can keep the system in good working order.

Independence residents can beat the heat during the autumn months when temperatures begin to cool off. However, the winter season can be uncomfortably cold with snowy conditions and temperatures that often fall below freezing. Snowfall averages at about 20-24 inches per year, and the right gas or electric furnace will keep residents warm regardless of outdoor conditions.
